Trachok is currently President of Compliance for the German gaming group Gauselmann AG and has been responsible for obtaining gaming licenses in approximately 200 jurisdictions. He is also Chairman of IGT`s Global Compliance and Governance Committee, based in London, and obtains gaming licenses in Nevada and other countries. In addition to his gaming work, Trachok also focuses on utility regulation.
He worked as a Senior External Regulatory Advisor for NV Energy and handled all rate and resource planning files for the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada from 2006 to 2013. The Office of the General Counsel represents the University in all legal proceedings and advises the University`s administration. ASUN Legal Services is a student-run and student-funded organization. For over thirty years, members of the university community with legal problems or questions have had access to free legal aid and referrals. ASUN Legal Services has a lawyer who assists students in their legal affairs. Although the lawyer cannot represent students in court, advice can still be given on almost any legal issue.

The Deputy General Counsel litises on behalf of the NRU in consultation with the General Counsel and assists the General Counsel in planning, organizing and directing the legal activities of the NRU. The Deputy General Counsel assists in advising and advising senior academic and administrative officials of the University regarding the legal rights and obligations of the UNR. The scope of the role includes litigation, administrative and regulatory matters, whether in the courts of the State of Nevada or the United States and in all federal and state administrative authorities, advice to clients and contracts.
