The song is also probably a good lesson that if you fight against the law, the law often wins, or maybe you just shouldn`t let “your baby.” 8. Folsom Prison Blues – Johnny Cash Another song impossible to ignore in such a list – try watching the documentary about this song`s performance in prison. 9. I Shot the Sheriff – Bob Marley I almost tried to go with Eric Clapton`s version, but couldn`t get past a bit of reggae. Different interpretations of the true meaning of this song cover a range of social issues from the Cold War to Ronald Reagan. Regardless of the correct interpretation of this commentary, the first verse deals at least with the dissolution of a marriage, a child trapped in the middle, and the effects of the involvement of a lawyer: the end of innocence. Take the time to forget the silence in court, turn up the volume and listen to tunes inspired by the law and its world. And we can`t leave a good old folk song about a Philadelphia lawyer, a Hollywood lady and a cowboy on the list. It is clearly the stuff of a great melody. The song ends with one less Philadelphia lawyer in good old Pennsylvania.

This lighthearted parody of Maroon 5s Payphone is the perfect song for apprentices whose hours are endless and who still have to pass these exams at the end of their 40-hour weeks.
