Marina Agaltsova was accepted into the University`s Master of Laws program at the age of 21. This program was essential to cement and shape their research interests and careers. After obtaining the LLM in human rights law, Agaltsova practised as a lawyer in Russia and tried cases of enforced disappearances, unlawful killings by civil servants, freedom of expression and freedom of assembly. She has developed a particularly keen interest in the right to freedom of expression.
