Peabody (`83) has served as legal director and general counsel of Mass General Brigham, a health care system that receives $2 billion in federal funding for medical research and is Massachusetts` largest private employer with nearly 80,000 employees. Prior to joining Mass General Brigham in 2017, Laura was Senior Vice President, General Counsel of Northwell, Inc., a large, integrated nonprofit healthcare system for the New York metropolitan area and New York State`s largest employer. Laura was responsible for providing legal advice to the entire organization. During Laura`s four years at Northwell, she restructured corporate governance. Prior to representing health care systems, Laura represented health care payers for many years.
